Overview
Oracle 12c is the updated version of Oracle 11g R2. The main difference between the two versions is that Oracle 11g R2 is an older version of Oracle RDBMS. On top of this, Oracle 11g R2 doesn’t have a pluggable database, while the newer version, Oracle 12c, has pluggable databases and was designed for the cloud. Turbonomic can make intelligent recommendations to prevent resource starvation and performance degradation by integrating and collecting specific database metrics.Â
